Last Thursday I took the morning off work and joined Emma on her class’s December field trip to Holiday Acres, a local Christmas tree farm. It was 80 degrees and humid — so basically your typical holiday Houston weather. The kids all had a great time! It is really fun for me to hang out with them as a class now that they are older and can really interact with each other.
We took a hayride, then roasted marshmallows on a campfire…
We went “sledding” (and I even tried it out at Emma’s request)…
We picked up sticks…
There was a LOT of running around on a big piles of hay bales…
I’m very thankful to have a job that gives me the flexibility to participate in stuff like this. And have I mentioned how much I love Emma’s daycare?? What a fun day!
