I’m doing 30 Days of Creativity this month for the fourth year in a row. Even though it’s no longer an “official Internet thing,” I still think it’s fun. Here are Week 1, Week 2 and Week 3 if you missed them.
Vacation admittedly distracted me from finishing the month super strong. I missed 3 of the last 8 days, but in the end, it was a fun month trying to focus on doing at least something little every day.
June 22 – I spent time planning the next rosette of my La Passacaglia quilt and cutting out new shapes accordingly. This one’s going to have a white/black/pink/purple color scheme.
June 23 – Nothing like glue basting tiny pieces on an airplane tray table!
June 25, 27, 29 – I did some piecing while sitting in various hotel rooms and back at home on the couch.
June 30 – I didn’t want to “cop out” with more stitching, so I dug around in my art bin until I came across some metallic colored pencils. I doodled for about 10 minutes and you can see the result above. Nothing spectacular, but hey, it was fun. I should doodle more often!
So long, 30 DOC! Until next year!
