Remembering // An awesome daytime date with Jose last Sunday for “fancy brunch” at Brennan’s. He kept the destination a secret until we got there! It was SO yummy.
Adoring // Our babysitter. Jose arranged for her to come over for the afore-mentioned brunch, and then told me while we were there that she offered to do it FOR FREE as a birthday present. She is amazing. Emma adores her. If she ever moves, I will seriously cry.
Administering // Twice daily doses of amoxicillin to Emma, who got sent home from daycare on Tuesday with a fever. Turns out she has double ear infections. Yaaaaaaay. This is the first infection (well, infections, plural) she’s had since she got ear tubes 18 months ago. We knew from her last well checkup that the tubes had fallen out, so when she spiked the fever in addition to some lingering congestion, I had a gut feeling it might be her ears again.
Feeling // A bit deflated by work at the moment. It was one of those weeks.
Trying // Stitchfix. I’ve heard good things about their service, so I’m hopeful that my delivery (scheduled in a few weeks) will add a few great new pieces to my recently-pared-down closet.
