Here’s #8 of my Digital Media Studies Master’s Project. What can be said about the Hubble Space Telescope that hasn’t already been said? It’s amazing. It was launched from a space shuttle in 1990 but astronomers quickly discovered that the primary mirror had a flaw that rendered all the images somewhat blurry. The shuttle returned in 1993 for the first of several repair and servicing missions. The shuttle visited for a final time on the STS-125 mission in 2009. I loved the mission patch from that flight, and used that as inspiration for this poster.
