I’m enjoying 30 Days of Creativity in June! Here’s a rundown of my activities for week 3 (or you can go back and look at Week 1 or Week 2) — although I have to admit that this week’s update won’t be too exciting.
June 15-17 – I missed these days since we were in Corpus Christi and pretty much every spare moment we had was occupied! There was plenty of creativity on display at our baby shower, but alas I can’t take credit for any of it.
June 18-19 – More work on the blanket I’ve posted about before. I don’t know if it still counts as being creative to work on an ongoing project, but I need to get it finished!
June 20 – I have an idea for some cute, simple art for the baby room but I want a watercolor background. I don’t actually have any watercolors, and figured I could probably make something better on the computer anyway (ironic, right?), so I found a tutorial and had fun messing around in Adobe Illustrator!
June 21 – Yep, still working on the blanket! It looked like a simple concept, but has taken me a lot longer than I expected. I think it’s going to turn out really cute though, so I’m excited to finish it this weekend.
I’m going to try to finish strong next week with more interesting projects!
