It’s week 2 of the 2026 Pantone Quilt Challenge! If you’re just learning about the challenge or need a reminder:
- General info and rules are here.
- No judges or prizes this year, but you’ll be eligible for a woven quilt label — and we welcome donations to help offset the cost of those labels.
- Follow @pantonequiltchallenge, @bysarahruiz, and @cottonandbourbon on Instagram for more challenge fun.
All participants are free to work at their own pace, and the link-up will be open April 20-27. If you need some additional prodding and/or motivation, we’ve laid out a handy schedule for you!

Week 2 – Fabric Pull
If you are following our timeline, this week is all about your fabric selections! You’ve got a lot of leeway for what you consider “white” in your quilt, plus remember you can use ~10% of any of color. How are you building your palette? Are you using solids, or prints, or both? Are you working from your stash, buying new fabric, or maybe even dyeing your own? We want to know!
Share your thoughts in the comments or on Instagram by tagging us @pantonequiltchallenge and using our challenge hashtag #PantoneQuiltChallenge2026.
