My latest pattern, Sunsparks, is here! The pattern has actually been available since November and I’m woefully late in giving it a dedicated post here on my blog, but better late than never right?

Sunsparks is a modern traditional design based on the classic Crow’s Foot quilt block. I’ve written it to be precut friendly, and you can choose between fat eighths or fat quarters depending on the size you’d like to make. (You can even make it scrappy if you’d rather just pull from your stash and scrap bins — I included piece counts for that method as well!)
This version began with a fat quarter bundle of Rashida Coleman Hale’s Sunbeam collection for Ruby Star Society. I played with a couple other pattern ideas before landing on this, but I love the result. And that brown background?? I can probably count the number of times I’ve used brown fabric on one hand, but I LOVE IT in this quilt! The warmness of the brown really complements the bundle color palette, and this quilt made me feel such warmth even as I finished making it in the early January chill.
To celebrate finally finishing my sample quilt, and because I never really did a proper “pattern launch,” I’m putting Sunsparks on sale for you this week! Grab the pattern for only $10 through Sunday February 11!
(The sale price will show up once you add the pattern to your cart. After Saturday, it’ll be available at the regular price of $13.)
As always, thank you for your support. I hope you love Sunsparks!

I have really been crushing on using brown in my quilts lately; it’s the perfect compliment to Sunbeam collection. Congratulations on the release!
