This was my final finish of 2021, but I’m just sharing it today because Art Gallery Fabrics has released their Season & Spice fabric collection. This version of my Pathfinder quilt is featured in the lookbook!
It’s always fun to revisit an older pattern from time to time and see how it looks in a different colorway or fabric collection. This is the third Pathfinder quilt I’ve made, and I have one more top in my UFO pile that will be my fourth. Each one looks different!
I had to ship this quilt to Art Gallery for photos, but when it comes back to me I’m planning to toss it in the wash. The fabrics are nice and soft and I can’t wait to see how the quilt crinkles up after a wash and dry cycle.
The stats:
- Quilt measures 57″ x 57″.*
- Top, backing, and binding are all Season and Spice plus coordinating Elements and PURE Solids, all by Art Gallery Fabrics.
- Pieced with Aurifil 50 wt thread in #2400 (Dove).
- Free motion quilted on my longarm with Aurifil 50 wt thread in #2975 (Brass).
*This quilt usually measures 60″ x 60″. I’ll save the boneheaded story of the mistake I made — and how I fixed it but ended up with a slightly smaller quilt — for another time.

This is my favorite version – unless you make another and then THAT will be my fav. Just finished a baby version of Modular Maze! It was fun to do! And LOVE the version your family did. Thanks
