We had a really great Christmas day — so great, in fact, that Charlotte was crying last night at bedtime because she didn’t want Christmas to end. I’ll take that as a sign of success!
We continue to enjoy unseasonably warm weather and even had Christmas lunch outside on the patio, where I got at least one mosquito bite because it hasn’t been cold enough to kill those little twerps.
The girls enjoyed all their presents. Emma has already completed her entire 1000+ piece Harry Potter lego set, and Charlotte is halfway through her Lego Friends fun fair. Jose had already made two dishes in his new instant pot, and I’ve enjoyed browsing the photobook he made me. Tomorrow I’m hoping to start the puzzle he gave me as well!
It is awesome to have my parents and brother here, and soon my sister and her family arrive as well. We have a very full house, which is very fun but also it is very noisy and there is constant activity and by the time 10 pm rolls around I am TIRED. I have limited bandwidth or time to write blog posts, and I don’t have any pre-written, so I may not finish out my month of blogging. We shall see!
p.s. I’m doing a 31 day blogging challenge.

Enjoy all your time with family; a house full of laughter and love sounds delightful (if a bit chaotic)!
