We made a quick trip down to Corpus Christi for Thanksgiving this year and it was really nice to be able to spend time with Jose’s family. Aside from his mom, we hadn’t seen anyone in person since Thanksgiving 2019 thanks to covid, etc.
The girls have two true 1st cousins on Jose’s side of the family, plus dozens of other cousins of various degrees. Even though we hadn’t seen them in a while, it took no time at all for everyone to run off playing happily.
After having our Thanksgiving meal at my mother-in-law’s house, we drove the half hour to Sinton, where Jose’s aunt and uncle have a small ranch. There were lots of others there as well, so we hung out for a while. We all took a turn driving the 4-wheeler around in the dark. The girls declared this to be the best part of the whole trip, so there you go.
A happy Thanksgiving indeed!
p.s. I’m doing a 31 day blogging challenge.

Looks like fun! Forest loves when Chris brings our work 4 wheeler home after a field job and he drives him around our yard! Glad you got to see some extended family!
