My friend Bobbie just kicked off a second year of UFOvember — a blog hop and social media event celebrating the UnFinished Objects that most quilters have lurking in their sewing areas! Sometimes we start projects but then, for a variety of reasons, they get put aside for a while.
The end of the year is a great time to dust off your UFOs and get them on a path to a finish — whether that’s by finishing it yourself, or pursuing a different option.
UFOvember has 4 parts, or roughly one per week:
REVIEW – This is a combination of inventory, confession, and therapy. What are your UFOs and why did you fall out of love with them?
RESUME – Pick up a UFO right where you left off, get it done, happy ending!
REWORK – Make a plan B for your UFO. Overdye, slice and dice, repurpose into a different project.
REHOME – Your emotional trash can be someone else’s treasure — swap, done, give away, or something else!
