It’s a surprise pattern release! The Split Level quilt pattern is available in my Etsy shop and at Quilt Pattern Mart.
Split Level was inspired by the mathematical concept of exponential growth and decay, with block segments that are either doubled or halved from those in the adjacent rows. This quilt was featured in QuiltCon Magazine back in February as a throw-size only. I’ve now expanded the pattern to include 5 sizes from baby to king, and added plenty of detailed instructions and step-by-step diagrams.
Split Level is SUPER fast and fun pattern to make, thanks to simple cutting and a bit of strip piecing. I made a baby-size quilt top (pictured below) in less than 3 hours — and that includes cutting time.
