It’s here! The Modular Maze pattern is available in my Etsy shop and at Quilt Pattern Mart.
Modular Maze features a single block that can be turned in any direction and still match up with neighboring blocks to create a series of unbroken, meandering lines. Blocks are foundation paper pieced, which makes it easy to sew accurate blocks that will line up exactly when joined to produce the overall maze effect. If you have never paper pieced before, the straight lines in this block are a perfect introduction to this technique!
Templates, cutting instructions, and approximate fabric needs are included for a wall hanging using a 6″ block and throw quilt using a 12″ block. Blocks can be added or subtracted as desired to create any size quilt, and instructions are specifically provided for a 24″ x 24″ wall hanging and 60″ x 60″ throw size.
