Today I’m thrilled to re-release my Pathfinder quilt pattern, now available in my Etsy shop or at Quilt Pattern Mart!
And to celebrate, I’ve put ALL of my patterns on sale for 20% off through Wednesday, October 21. (No coupon code needed.)
I wrote this pattern a couple years ago for Craftsy, and it was featured on the Midnight Quilt Show with Angela Walters in July 2018:
I love the big, bold blocks in this quilt. They are easy to sew but have a lot of impact, and create a fun secondary pattern too. The original pattern was for a throw size only, but I’ve given it a revamp and it now includes full instructions for 4 different sizes from baby to king.
I don’t have the original quilt, so last week I finally started a second version to keep! Instead of solids, this time I’m going full-on maximalist with a fat quarter bundle of “Wish” by Carrie Bloomston. It’s looking really fun so far!
The cover quilt was created with solids that are no longer sold. If you have your heart set on the original desert-inspired palette, I spent some time with my color cards to provide equivalents in Kona Cotton (Robert Kaufman Fabrics), Cotton Couture (Michael Miller Fabrics) and Bella Solids (Moda Fabrics). These are not a perfect match to the original, but they should be pretty close!
