First, a wrap-up of my goals for spring:
- Make face masks for my family. Done.
- Finish the Alison Glass/Giucy Giuce Mini Series sew-along. Done!
- Spring clean your studio blog hop. Done!
- Make a quilt for the GCMQG challenge and Make a STEM-inspired quilt. Almost done! Fulfilled both of these with one project that I’m quilting and will be done by the weekend. It didn’t get entered in Quilt Festival, but I suspect Quilt Festival won’t even happen this year.
- Write 2 patterns. Done! However, one was for Bluprint and my contact was terminated as part of their closing/transition to new ownership. I will release it on my own, but it’s going to take me some time to have it edited and make a sample.
- Also done:
- 100 Day Project. I totally forgot to add this to my spring list, but it’s the biggest thing I’ve been doing!
- Made a mini for the HMQG black & white improv challenge.
- Joined the Solid Seven bee and made May & June blocks.
- Participated in Gnome Angel’s Battle of the Blocks.
Here’s what I’m planning for July-September, keeping my guiding thoughts in mind as I go…
- Finish my 100+ day project. I’ve committed to making 147 postcards and while I’m not committing to a one-per-day pace after I hit #100, I intend to get the remaining 47 done by the end of September.
- Make a photobook to document my 100+ day project. Since I’ve mailed almost all of them away, this will be a fun way to remember them!
- Test a pattern for a quilty friend. My deadline is the end of July so this will get done pretty soon.
- Make 5 blocks for the Violet Protest. I signed up a while ago and received the tags, so I just need to make the blocks!
- Republish L Is For… and Triangles at Play patterns. These just need a refresh and they will be in my shop!
- Finish my Rainbow Triangles BOM quilt. This has been lingering for far too long. Just needs to be quilted and bound.
Should be a good summer!
