This year I made 10 baby or throw-size quilts, 5 mini quilts, and 3 quilt tops that still need to be finished. I designed my guild’s charity quilt and stitched a good portion of the top together. I made a bag, stitched 4 simple skirts, released a pattern, and did quite a bit of graphics, writing, and editing work for others. I taught a few classes, took several workshops, and participated in some blog hops.
I totally can’t pick favorites, but here are some highlights:

Best skill-builder: I pushed myself to try some more complicated walking foot quilting on my Trinket quilt, with great results!

Quickest/easiest: my new Shake & Bake quilt, of course! I made two versions, and have at least one more planned for early next year. (And if you want to make your own, the pattern is in my shop.)

Most valuable: I made two memory quilts for a friend and her mom using her dad’s shirts and was really pleased with how they came out. (And more importantly, my friend was too.)

Most tedious: Toss up between my Bob Ross challenge entry and my Mini Maze quilt. So! much! paper piecing! Fortunately, it was 100% worth it in the end in both cases.

Most intelligent: The library quilt I made Jose for his birthday! I had so much fun coming up with the book titles to use as part of this quilt, and picking book-ish fabrics.
What a great year of making! Looking forward to more in 2020!
p.s. I’m doing a 31 day blogging challenge.
Quite the range of quilts! Love your Mini Maze quilt…very mesmerizing!
Thanks Mel!
All so beautiful. I especially love your Trinket quilt.
Thanks Darice! I was really pleased with how Trinket turned out, and it gives me motivation to push myself a bit more with my quilting in 2020.
Great finishes, you had a very productive year. Thanks for linking up!
Thanks Cheryl! I look forward to this linkup every year.
Really like what you did with the memory quilt. An inspired design.
The library quilt is on my “want to make” list but not in the near future.
Thanks Tami! I’d been procrastinating on the library quilt for a while because I thought it’d take a while, but once I got started it actually came together pretty quickly!
The quilting on Trinket really is impressive. Also a great variety in your top 5
