Kitty Wilkin aka Night Quilter has been doing cute and tiny paper piecing for a while now, and it’s always fun to see what she comes up with. This week I had the pleasure of testing her new runner block!

I’d consider this an intermediate skill level block, due to the number of pieces, the small size, and several tricky section joins. That said, I think a confident beginner would be successful too as long as you take your time and put a bit of added effort into checking segment alignment.
I had fun making my block a little crazier than usual by pulling blue, green, and very-close-to-white fabric bits from my scrap bin. My block is the 6″ version, and Kitty will also have the pattern available in 9″ and 3″ sizes.
p.s. I’m doing a 31 day blogging challenge.
