I’ve had several people comment on how much sewing I must be getting down since I’m not at work. That’s definitely a reasonable question! But sadly this week was a bust on the sewing front, since I ended up putting my sewing machine in the closet to prevent it from getting dusty as our floors were getting ripped up. Last week, fortunately, was more productive!
I got started on a project I’m doing for an upcoming blog hop for a new book by Teresa Mairal Barreu, who I “met” via one of the quilting-related Facebook groups that I participate in. More to come on that in a couple weeks! I should have a finished quilt top, and if the shutdown drags on I may even have an entirely finished quilt.
Jose and I have spent the last week watching an episode of Jack Ryan each evening, and as we watch I’ve been stitching away on my Pollinate quilt. Here’s a recently finished rosette. I’m still a lonnnnnng way from finishing this quilt, but progress is progress!

Very smart to protect your sewing machine from the dust this week! Your Pollinate progress looks great and I’m starting to think more and more about having hand sewing to take on the go, too.

EPP would be great for your upcoming adventures! 🙂
