Back in September, I got the chance to work with fabric from the just-released Night Song collection by Felice Regina for Windham Fabrics. Felice needed a few samples for her booth, and I volunteered to make a bag!
Night Song is a “mini” collection with only 5 prints — 3 mains and two coordinating blenders. I used four of them to make my version of the 241 Tote pattern by Anna Graham of Noodlehead.
I finished the bag at the end of September and sent it off to Felice, who used it in her booth at Quilt Market! This was the first time I’d ever sewn anything for Market, so that was a new experience for me. From what I’ve heard, I was lucky to have had several weeks to put this bag together — sometimes the fabric arrives so late that there’s only a week or two to make the items!
It was fun to spot my bag in person and I hope it did a good job selling Felice’s lovely fabric!
p.s. I’m doing a 31 day blog writing challenge!
