Year #6 at our little local pumpkin patch! We actually went a week ago, on a Sunday afternoon right after a cold front had rolled through that morning. It was a little muddy but the day cleared up nicely. When we arrived, I was surprised to see half the patch was empty! There were also a bunch of teens and adults milling around. We quickly realized that they were awaiting another delivery of pumpkins — so getting to see them unload the truck was a fun bonus. It’s crazy to remember that last year at this time, Charlotte was barely walking…and now we’ve got two energetic girls running around! Time keeps on flying for sure.
