It’s our 5th year at the little local pumpkin patch! This is officially one of my very favorite things that we do in the fall, and I’d had it on my calendar for several weeks. This year we went on the day of their big fall festival, which they do one Saturday in October. There were pumpkins — of course — along with a couple bounce houses, snow cones, face painting, and more. We’d never been on festival day before and as we drove up, I wondered if we’d regret that decision — the “patch” is in the front yard of a local church so it’s not super big, and it looked really crowded. But we stuck with it and ended up having a nice time! Hooray for the pumpkin patch!

How’s your foot?
The foot is significantly better! Night and day from how it felt on Thursday and Friday. I’m thinking I might be able to try a run on Friday or Saturday.
