Sketching // Quilt designs and posting them on Instagram as part of #30DaysofQuiltDesign. I’ve done 6 so far — the goal is 30 by October 31. Some of them I really like and may develop into full patterns at some point. Some of them I don’t like but either way, it is still a fun exercise. 24 more to go!
Working // From home today. The breakfast nook in our new house is surrounded by windows and is a lovely little spot from which to telework!
Crossing // All my fingers and toes for some good news after the open house our realtor is doing at our old place this weekend. We’ve had very little interest thus far, which is most likely just due to it being a slow time of year…but it’s giving me anxiety. I can’t remember if I’ve mentioned, but in my ideal world I want to be under contract by the end of September and close on the sale before the end of October. There’s definitely still time for that to happen so I’m just trying to stay calm. (And in the grand scheme of things, the only real impact of it taking longer to sell is that we have to pay 2 mortgage payments for longer. That’s obviously not fantastic, but we planned for that possibility and can handle it if necessary.)
Eating // Pumpkin spice Oreos because ’tis the season, right? But I’m only eating one or two at a time. Now that Charlotte’s a year old, I figure I’m out of excuses for still carrying around an extra 15 pounds, so last week I started using MyFitnessPal again to track calories. And when I still had 250 calories left for the day at 9:00 last night, I totally had 2 Oreos as a nice little treat. Mmm.
