I’m celebrating my own 30 Days of Creativity this month for the fifth (!) year in a row.
June 1 & 2 – I eased myself into the month with two evenings of progress on Charlotte’s Christmas stocking. The tree is coming along nicely and soon I’ll be starting in on the snowmen next to it.
June 3-6 – I wanted to do some stitching that would feel a little different than my norm, so I pulled out a little “bonus” that came with an issue of Mollie Makes that I picked up last year. I spent Friday prepping the fabric and transferring the pattern, and stitched up this simple star design after a few false starts. (It’s been a while since I did any embroidery and it always takes me a bit to get my bearings.) I hung it on my cube wall at work and love it!
June 7 – More stitching, but also another new-to-me project! This is a wooden pendant I bought as a little kit at Target — I saw it one day in their craft aisle and couldn’t pass it up. I’m not sure what I’ll do with it when I’m done. I may use it more as a hang tag or other decoration instead of a pendant, but we’ll see.
