In recent months, my Facebook feed has exploded with a wealth of info about really fun events happening in and around Houston. I don’t know what started it, but it’s made ol’ Facebook more valuable to me than ever before — and the Kite Festival at Hermann Park last Saturday is the perfect example. I’d never heard about it before, but saw the event listing online and decided to check it out.
We didn’t have a kite…but no problem, because they were selling them at the festival! We didn’t bring any food…but no problem, because there were food trucks! And the fact that we’re currently enjoying our one week of absolutely perfect weather only heightened the experience.
All in all, we had a blast. I’ll let the expression on Emma’s face speak from here on:
