Yesterday Jose, Emma and I took our annual trip to the rodeo! We left Charlotte at home with a babysitter so it was a true Mommy-Daddy-Emma date. I should note that since we’ve had kids, we haven’t actually been to the rodeo itself — but we hit the livestock show, food tents, and carnival. (I just don’t think the rodeo itself, and sitting in the nosebleed seats, would hold a 3-year-old’s interest for very long.)
Emma was very excited to see and do the following things: see “the baby chicks hatching out of their eggs,” ride the merry-go-round, and ride the Ferris wheel. I’m happy to report that we accomplished all that and more.
