This year I’m participating in Ali Edwards’ One Little Word workshop. My word is “clear.” All of my OLW posts are here.
This month’s prompt was to create a vision board. It was a repeat of one of last year’s prompts, but I didn’t really mind since I think it’s a fun one. I chose again to do it on a letter-sized piece of cardstock instead of a large canvas. This limits my space…but I just don’t want to mess with a big canvas and this works just fine for me.
My collage this year came together VERY quickly. I don’t get a ton of magazines but I happened to have a few catalogs that turned out to have the perfect words and images for my purposes. The words and pictures came from a Brooks Running catalog, a Land of Nod catalog, and a Georgia Tech capital campaign brochure. I added a bit of scrapbook paper and some washi tape and voila. At first I thought I needed something more…and then I decided that this — and JUST this — made me feel clear.
p.s. The background park photo, in a rather perfect coincidence, is Piedmont Park in Atlanta which is a stone’s throw from Georgia Tech. It’s also the finish line for the annual Peachtree Road Race that I’ve run three(?) times.
