As it turns out, December 2015 was not a month for goal-setting. It was a month for just trying to hang on to the runaway train that my life became for several weeks. With the holidays over and having spent the past few days catching my breath, I’m hoping for a slightly less hectic pace in January.
Keep up with Couch to 5K. I haven’t run since November 28…which means my 5 successful weeks of Couch to 5K came crashing to a halt. By about mid-month, I realized I needed to just punt to January, even if that means starting over.
Finish my 2015 One Little Word album. Done! I’m signed up again for next year but still don’t have a word. “Enough” was exactly what I needed this year and nothing has grabbed me for 2016 like that one did.
Make Emma a princess dress. Nope. Didn’t get done. Bought a Sleeping Beauty dress online instead — seen above — which she has worn every single day since getting it, so I say WIN!
Have some holiday fun! Well I’m glad to report that this happened, at least. There was cookie-making and ballet-watching and lights-admiring and tree-decorating and plenty of merriment!
