Since Charlotte’s arrival, sewing has been in fits and starts. I get motivated and make good progress one day or the next, and then it sits for a week or more. It is what it is and I’m not bothered by it. I just try to make good use of the motivated days! And this week has had several of them.
After 3 months, I’m sooo close to finishing my niece’s quilt! I sewed the binding onto the front on Sunday night, so all I have to do now is attach it to the back and add a label. The end is in sight, and with any luck I’ll have this one in the mail on its way to Elizabeth by the weekend.
I’m also halfway done with two bags I’m making for a friend to give to family members for Christmas. I’m actually replicating a bag that she couldn’t find available for purchase anymore so while it’s a simple design, it took me a little bit of time to wrap my head around the best way to construct it since I don’t have a pattern.
Yesterday Charlotte and I hung out upstairs for a bit while she napped and I played around with all my little triangles. I like the direction this kaleidoscope mini is heading!

What energy you must have to be so busy! The quilt is coming along beautifully and she is going to be thrilled to sleep under it! Way to GO.
