I already posted my November goals. Here’s how I did in October…
Walk 4 days a week. Pretty close. A lot of rainy weather in October meant I didn’t pull off 4 days every single week, but I did for a couple of them, and for the rest I made it out at least 3 days. I’ve enjoyed my walks with Charlotte and it will probably be the thing I miss most when I go back to work. (And November, with Couch to 5K in the mix is going well so far.)
Finish Charlotte’s room. The only thing I got done by the end of October was put up the wall decal. But since I’m posting this update more than a week into November, I can also now report that I finished her gallery wall too. Just the curtains and crib skirt to go…
Finish my niece’s baby quilt. By the end of October I had finished the quilt top. Now that another week has passed, I’ve basted it and started on the quilting.
Miscellaneous household stuff. I checked several things off my list when my mom was here in mid-October. She took a big load of unneeded items to Goodwill. She provided motivation to finish several small updates to Emma’s room and re-hang some artwork that had been down since we moved the office upstairs in May. She watched Charlotte while I cleaned out our master bathroom cabinets. Hooray for getting stuff done!
I’m dying for a day off of work and the energy to take a giant haul to St. Vinny’s and a giant haul to the recycling center. I want my space back! But it seems like I’m not going to get the chance before kiddo arrives.
