December goals coming next week. In the meantime, here’s how I did in November.
Make progress on Couch to 5K. This is going really well! Not well as in easy, but well as in I haven’t missed a workout yet. Since I know I’ve got more than 9 weeks to work with before a goal race in mid or late January, I decided to repeat Week 4 (which featured the jump to 5-minute stints of running) so I’m doing that this week. I’ll move on to Week 5 on Monday.
Reassess my work wardrobe and fill any gaps. Soooooo I basically hate my entire wardrobe and want to get rid of it all. (Well, except for the one pair of jeans I just bought that actually fit.) At least half of my work clothes don’t really fit at the moment, but since I’ll only be working for 3 weeks before taking off again for the holidays, I decided that I’ve got enough to get by without going shopping right now. Maybe I can take advantage of some post-Christmas sales…
Make stuff. I finished Elizabeth’s quilt, made 2 bags for a friend, and just started piecing my scrappy kaleidoscope mini quilt. Not a bad month at all!
Relax and enjoy my final month of maternity leave. Done! Charlotte has been so agreeable, especially the last couple weeks, and that has made relaxing and enjoying a much easier thing to do. I’ve loved our weekday walks and runs, and she’s been a good little companion while running errands and puttering around the house. (She’s even chilled out with me while I quilted, as seen above!) The last 12 weeks have really flown by.
