Jose was off work and Emma’s daycare was closed yesterday for the Columbus Day holiday, so we decided it was the perfect day for our annual trip to the local little pumpkin patch!
We’d never been on a weekday before and at several points, we had almost the whole patch to ourselves!
Taking a picture of a 5.5-week-old who doesn’t have a ton of head and neck strength is challenging…
…thankfully it’s a little bit easier with a 3-year-old! Emma had a fun time running around and pulling wagons.
Charlotte relaxed in her stroller most of the time, although we did take a break at one point for snacks — a bottle for her and some goldfish crackers for Emma. I was patting myself on the back for planning ahead so well with that one! Whew. I’m definitely still working on my two-kid logistics.
Emma’s favorites were the small pumpkins, and she enjoyed filling the storage area underneath the stroller with several of them. We ended up taking two home — one for her and one for “my baby.”
