This year I’m participating in Ali Edwards’ One Little Word workshop. My word is “enough.” All of my OLW posts are here.
This month was all about gratitude — and I’ve had several good things happening lately, which made this prompt pretty easy! (I think this is possibly the earliest in a month so far this year that I’ve finished the prompt?)
I’m thankful for my family, in several ways, as I remind myself to soak up these last few weeks as a family of 3, give lots of love to my newly minted 3-year-old, and enjoy what has been a thankfully uneventful pregnancy (and what will probably be my last pregnancy too).
I’m thankful for success at work, which has come in a rush over the last few weeks after several years of hard work and mental reminders to be patient. (More about this soon.)
I’m thankful for little things too, like the thunderstorm we had on Tuesday night after weeks of unrelenting heat, interesting podcasts to make the drive to work more fun, the Vitamin Water that quenches my random pregnancy craving, and our house cleaners who eliminate a major stressor in my life.
I definitely have enough to be happy.
