I’m doing 30 Days of Creativity this month for the fourth year in a row. Even though it’s no longer an “official Internet thing,” I still think it’s fun. Here are Week 1 and Week 2 if you missed them.
June 16 – I did a little bit of stitching on my La Passacaglia quilt. I’m still plugging away on the second rosette (and the first of the four large rosettes)…slow and steady, right?
June 17 – I decided I needed a much better mockup of the planned cathedral window mini I’m planning to make for the Modern Quilt Guild’s Riley Blake fabric challenge, so I made this in Illustrator. I’m still on fence about exactly how to lay things out! Good thing I have until the end of July to make it…
June 18 – I said last week that I wanted to challenge myself to do something a little different than just sewing/quilts…but this was the only day I actually did that. I doodled an alphabet and it was actually pretty fun!
June 19-20 – I spent these two days working on my Oodalolly quilt — I finished quilting it and made binding. Just have to attach the binding and it will be done! On Friday, I also spent some time completing the One Little Word prompt for this month and having some fun with washi tape along the top of the page.
June 21 – Well…I skipped one day this week. Oops!
June 22 – It was a busy day hanging out with my mom, but I did spend some time cutting pieces for a new Passacaglia rosette.
