I’m doing 30 Days of Creativity this month for the fourth year in a row. Even though it’s no longer an “official Internet thing,” I still think it’s fun.
Doing my own little 30 days of creativity exercise is one of my goals for the month, but apparently some part of my brain didn’t get the memo! In the last 8 days, I forgot about my goal three times — like, completely, utterly forgot!
Nonetheless, I had 5 good days of creative fun:
June 2 – I got a West Elm catalog in the mail last week that featured a table with a cool mosaic pattern on the top. I immediately thought it’d make a great quilt, and recreated it in Illustrator to see how it looked. I might take this one a little farther later this month.
June 4 – I spent about 20 minutes cutting the next ring of pentagons for my Passacaglia quilt and started glue basting them.
June 5-7 – I made a ton of progress on my Oodalolly quilt over the weekend! I think I’ll finish the top by the end of the week.
