Last week, I finally found the perfect spot for the beautiful mini quilt that SarahRose made for me earlier this year for the Schnitzel & Boo swap — a sunny spot on the wall of my cubicle at work. It makes me happy just to see it, and provides the perfect bit of fresh air in the midst of my otherwise very right-brained job.
The technical nature of my job and the much more creative bent of my hobbies is something that I think about a lot, which I think is only natural when there seems to be a significant disconnect between what someone does for a living and what they enjoy in their free time. So today I’m featured over on Delaney Paige talking a bit about my job, creativity, and the links between the two.
I came across Delaney’s blog about a month ago when she featured another blog friend, Kathleen, in her “Everyday Professionals” series. I spent a few minutes looking through her blog and quickly added it to my feed reader. Coincidentally, Delaney found my blog around the same time and asked if I’d be interested in participating in the series too!
I hope you enjoy it and check out some of the other stories in her series as well.

Thanks so much for taking part, Sarah! Xx
