Thinking // About getting a new computer. I don’t really want to spend the money right now, but my iMac (bought in late 2008) has gotten slow enough that it’s just really frustrating to work on. I replaced the RAM a few years ago, which bought some time, but it’s more and more of a clunker each day.
I do have a Macbook as well (bought in 2009, so slightly newer). I actually use my desktop more than the laptop these days. Maybe instead of a new iMac, I’ll look into a docking station setup…
Enjoying // The fact that Emma is old enough to keep herself entertained (via the iPad) on the 2+ hour flight to and from Charlotte. It means that I get to semi-relax on plane flights again! I even made some progress on my Passacaglia pieces as we flew back on Wednesday morning.
Needing // To call an HVAC person to take a look at one of our a/c units, which doesn’t seem to be responding to the thermostat. We had a similar issue with the same unit a few months ago that cycling the circuit breaker cleared up, but that didn’t work this time. I don’t know anything about HVAC, but it seems like there’s a faulty sensor somewhere in there.
Hoping // To get some spring cleaning done this weekend after spending the last 4 weekends either out of town or fully booked with other activities.
Wishing // We were back in Charlotte.
