February was…not the greatest month when it came to being successful with my monthly goals.
I didn’t finish the “family yearbook” I’ve been wanting to make, so I guess I’m accepting for now that it’s not going to happen. I didn’t tackle my closet, so it’s still overstuffed with clothes. I didn’t try yoga, unless you count downloading an app that I haven’t opened.
I did an ok job of keeping phone/device time to a minimum between work and Emma’s bedtime…for a week. Then I fell off the wagon and never got back on. At least sometimes the screen time was for Emma, watching Disney songs? That’s not really an excuse though.
In the “make things” department, I haven’t started my Technicolor Galaxy block of the month yet. I did continue working on the two baby quilts, but really that means I worked on the first one, and it’s still not finished. (The top is done and I did baste it last night, so it’s getting closer!) I also finished the first rosette of my La Passacaglia quilt, mainly because I can work on that while being otherwise lazy and watching TV.
So yeah. I’m just gonna write this month off as a loss and move on to better things in March!
