January goals — and maybe even a few more long-term 2015 goals — coming next week. In the meantime, here’s how I did in December…
Run and/or walk 58 miles. That number was chosen with the goal of hitting 400 miles for the year and, drumroll…I finished with 398.3 miles of running and/or walking in 2014. I suppose I could be annoyed that I was that close and didn’t make it — and trust me, there’s a part of my brain that feels that way — but overall I’m happy. There were several months earlier in the year when I wasn’t doing anything at all, so getting that close to 400 still feels like an accomplishment. The last four months of this year have been really good and I plan to carry that into 2015.
Check 3 things off the “little jobs” list. I didn’t actually check anything off my list in December…but I’ll have three things checked off by the end of this weekend a.k.a. by the time I go back to work. The first few days of January still count as the end of the year in my book. (Ha!)
Make a 2014 family album. Unsurprisingly, I got started on this but didn’t get it finished by the end of the month. I’m leaving it on the list for January…otherwise it’ll never happen.
Finish two books. Done, although in the spirit of full disclosure, finish #2 of the month (and #20 of the year) technically happened yesterday. Totally counts though.
Make all the things. I wanted to: finish the Wildwood quilt, finish my Once Upon a Time sampler, make 2 scarves, free motion quilt 3 blocks for my Craftsy class, and make progress on something for both the Schnitzel & Boo mini quilt swap and the Instagram Tote Swap.
Well, I’m happy to report: done, done, done, begun, and done. (Man that feels good!)
