My Christmas Wish List

I already shared Emma’s wish list, so it’s only fair to share my own, right? Here goes…!

 

Want

What? I want sewing stuff? What a surprise! Both a (1) rotary cutting mat and one of these (2) giant extension tables for my sewing machine would be great additions to my sewing room (er, dining room).

Need

(3) I made a jewelry hanger a few years ago by putting some cork board in a picture frame, but over time the pushpins have loosened up and the whole thing has gotten pretty cluttered. I really need something sturdier to hold my jewelry, like this necklace rack.

(4) Jose and I upgraded to new iPhones right after Thanksgiving (early Christmas present to ourselves, I guess?) and since the 6 is larger than my old 5, of course I need new accessories too — most notably, the iPhone 6 version of my Tune Belt armband.

Wear

(5) Ok, I admit it. I want to see what all the fuss is about track pants and these metro slouch pants from Athleta look really comfy.

(6) I have a thin down jacket that’s been with me for several winters now and frankly, it’s starting to show its age. I’d like to replace it with some similar like this one from Lands End — and maybe in a fun color instead of black!

Although these two books are from totally different genres, I’ve seen rave reviews of both (7) Amy Poehler’s “Yes Please” and (8) “Marketing the Moon” about the massive public affairs campaign that accompanied the Apollo program in the 1960s and 70s.

What do you guys want for Christmas? I’d love to hear!
