First of all, I decided to stop posting my weight. It made sense when I was trying to lose it, but at the moment I’m just maintaining. 175 pounds seems to be a sweet spot for me — I can eat more or less as I choose without gaining weight, and I’m reasonably happy with how my clothes fit and how I feel in general.
Second, I didn’t end up running on Tuesday because I was exhausted, but my Sunday run juuust put me over the 50 mile mark. Woo! I’m off to a good start towards 50 miles in October with a short treadmill run plus a longer run yesterday.
Yesterday’s run was at the St. Thomas 5K Fun Run in Nassau Bay. Jose and Emma came too…and Emma did the kid’s race!! (More on that tomorrow.) For the 5K, Jose walked with Emma in the stroller while I ran. A few minutes after I passed the 2 mile mark, I turned around and ran backwards along the course until I found them, and then the three of us walked/jogged to the finish line. All in all I covered 4.1 miles.

I stomped on a mole hill on Tuesday and overextended my knee, so I’ve been without exercise for several days. It’s the first time in about two and a half years, and I am NOT a fan.
