Our little family had a great time celebrating Emma’s birthday yesterday, and there’s more fun still to come at her party this weekend! After she got up yesterday morning, I left time for a quick 2-year-old photoshoot and Emma was in a GREAT mood. She was excited to put on her birthday hat (which I made last year) and happily ran upstairs and climbed into the chair.
I pointed the camera at her and said “Emma, make a happy face!” You already saw this photo yesterday, but this is what she did:
“Emma, how old are you today?”
“Two!”
Oh my goodness I love her so.
After work and daycare, we celebrated at home with one of her favorite dinners (chicken tortilla casserole) and cupcakes!
She was a little uncertain about the candle thing, so she got a little help blowing them out from Dad.
The cupcake itself, on the other hand, was all good.
I have a 2-year-old! Whoa!
