Summary
I didn’t run while on vacation — no surprise there. But THEN as soon as we got home, I got sick. I decided to skip running on Monday and Tuesday hoping to head off any worse illness, but I ended up regretting that. I should have just run on Monday or Tuesday because Wednesday and Thursday were even worse. I stayed home from work and didn’t move from the couch. I finally started feeling better on Friday, and finally went for a run yesterday.
It was brutal. I sweated until I felt like I could sweat no more. But at least i was back out there!
So. What I thought would be a 6-day layoff turned into 10 days, and suddenly there are only 2 weeks remaining until my 5K. I still think I can meet my goal of running the whole thing — but no more missed runs, right??
