Summary
Another good week and I’m still loving it! I’m using C25K as a baseline but adding 5-10 minutes at the end of each workout because it feels good to do so. It’s crazy how happy running has made me for the last 3 weeks — I’ve been enjoying it more than I have in years. I can’t totally explain this, other than to suspect it’s due to some combination of:
- Running around dusk, which I’ve always liked
- Running after Emma is in bed, and therefore I’m not imposing on Jose by leaving
- Listening to podcasts, which I’m finding more engaging than music
- Not paying attention to my pace at all, but instead just running when the app tells me to run and walking when it tells me to walk
