Merona satchel purse from Target. I actually got this LAST year, but I’m still carrying it around. I know, probably a faux pas, but whatever — because in the past few weeks, I have had multiple people compliment me on it. Therefore, I still love it!
Maas Nursery in Seabrook. This is a local fixture and one of the most fun places to wander around! We went over a couple weekends ago and picked up several new bushes for our flower beds, along with a few hot pepper and herb plants. If you live in the Clear Lake area — or even in Houston in general — and haven’t been here, you are missing out.
La Boulange at Starbucks. There’s a whole new line of pastries you can get at Starbucks now and they are really yummy. Try the pain au chocolat (they call it a chocolate croissant). Or a plain croissant. Or the ham and swiss square. They are all yummy when I run out of time to eat breakfast at home, even if they are probably much less healthy than my usual bowl of cereal.
My Master’s Project. Ok, this one is a bit of love-hate relationship, but that thumbnail image is the title page of my narrative, which is officially submitted and signed off by 3 of the 4 people who need to do so. Within weeks, I will have a fully finished, bound copy in my hands and I will be D.O.N.E. with my M.A.
