Summary
I got to the end of January with 36.0 miles under my belt (28.2 running, 7.8 walking) — so with one month down, I’m on track for my goal of covering 400 miles in 2014! And that’s despite skipping a week due to being sick. There’s a long way to go, but so far, so good.
I’m toying with the idea of doing the Lucky Trails half marathon in mid-March. My goal would be only to finish, so I have just enough time to get prepared enough between now and then. The registration fee goes up in 2 weeks, so I’m going to do a couple more longer runs and then make a final decision.
