A few things I’m kind of obsessed with this month…
Threshold Performance Sheets from Target. We were due for new sheets for our bed and I decided to give these a try as what — I hoped — would be a good balance between quality and price. I love them! They feel SO nice when I climb into bed at night, even if it’s been a week or more since they were washed. And the fitted sheet actually fits our deep mattress, as opposed to our old sheets that would wiggle their way off after a few days. There were a few online reviews that complained about the Threshold sheets shredding after only one or two washes, but ours have been through the wash twice so far with no issue. I’m holding off for a few more wash cycles before buying a second set, but so far so good!
Modern Family. I mentioned that we watched several episodes of this sitcom during a marathon around Thanksgiving, and we’ve kept watching since. ABC is still showing new episodes and USA runs it often in syndication (although it seems like they only bought like 20 episodes, because we keep seeing the same ones over and over). Anyway, it’s hilarious. What other shows am I missing out on by not watching right now??
Starbucks Caramel Flan Latte. I’ve tried this new drink twice — both the full-up version and the “nonfat, no whip” version. Both are really tasty. Mmm. I usually get skinny lattes since I don’t like the idea of drinking 300+ calories…but this may be an occasional treat.
My new Wacom tablet! This was a Christmas present for Jose and after playing around with it for a bit, I’m a big fan. It’s going to help me out a lot with the rest of my master’s projects, not to mention future graphics work. I had a knock-off tablet once upon a time (maybe 2004 or 2005?) and just never got comfortable with using it, but I’m pumped about this one.
