Summary
I ended up taking the beginning of the week off in hopes that the aching hamstring I mentioned last week would right itself. That turned out to be a good decision, and I ran both yesterday and today without feeling so much as a twinge. Yesterday I took Emma along in the bob, which I hadn’t done in quite a while. I was a little worried that pushing her would wear me out fast, but I actually felt pretty good. I’d like to take credit for that, but really it was probably the weather, which has been GORGEOUS this weekend.
This morning I did a long run on my own while Jose took Emma for a walk. Last week I did mostly 3/1 to help me get through the Charlotte hills, but today I upped it to 4/1 and felt pretty good. Next weekend I’ll go for 6.5-7 miles.
