(For reference: Pumpkin Patch 2012)
We took Emma over to the pumpkin patch on Sunday and she had a blast. Prepare yourself for photo overload! Hey, it’s my blog and I’ll post a zillion photos if I want to…
When we first arrived, she walked straight up to this big one and said “ba! ba!” which in Emma-speak means ball. You’ll never consider how much pumpkins look like balls until you see them with a toddler, eh? (This also goes for those big concrete…well, BALLS…outside of Target to prevent cars from driving up in front of the door.)
Behold, Emma’s “cheese” face. If you point a camera in her direction and say “smile,” she usually just stares are you. But “Emma, say cheese!” gets you this. It’s pretty hilarious.
As if to prove to us that they really were balls, she started picking up these tiny pumpkins and throwing them on the ground.
This was the best we could do for a family photo. Jose and I look fine, while Emma is giving the guy taking our picture quite the suspicious look!
This was the only cutout that had a cutout less than about 3 feet off the ground. It is only looking at this photo now that I realized she is a pig. Ha!
There was a lot of random walking around. There were people! And pumpkins! And things to see over there! And over there! And over there!
You guessed it — more cheese face.
We were there about 45 minutes, just letting Emma walk around. Towards the end, we could tell she was getting tired, but it only made her do even cuter things. She walked up to this pumpkin and HUGGED IT.
Awwwwwwww.
We ended up taking home a big one to carve, and a small one for Emma. Another successful year!
