Gratuitous photo of my little redneck baby taking a swim at Jose’s aunt’s house yesterday
It’s been several months since I began setting monthly goals instead of yearly resolutions (which I promptly forget about by the time February rolled around). I’ve knocked a few things out of the park and failed miserably on others, but I do like working on shorter-term items and plan to continue.
That said, I’ve decided to use September to take a break from setting new goals and work on finishing up several of the ones I didn’t quite complete. Here’s the list of little things I want to wrap up for good before October — and the always-busy fall season — arrives:
Clean up the rest of my office. This one’s from my May list but heck, it might as well be a permanent goal — or should I just accept that it’s never going to happen and that I am just a person destined to have a messy office? Either way, I’m going to give it another shot.
Make a wedding photo book. Another from the May list. I downselected to the photos worthy of a book and started putting it together, but never finished.
Make a will. This one’s from my June list, and should be complete by the end of next week.
Touch up the paint in the kitchen. Another one from June. I did the dining room and bonus room but never got back to the kitchen.
Make a photobook of Emma’s first year. From the August list. Two more books to wrap up!
Make myself a skirt. Also from the August list. I made the muslin last week and am halfway done with the real skirt. I probably won’t finish today, but it should be done by the end of the week.
[…] I’ll post about my October goals tomorrow. In the meantime, here’s how I did with my September goals. […]
