After 6 weeks straight, and another 6 only missing a few days…obviously the wheels have fallen off my “mile-a-day” bus. I didn’t even do anything this weekend, when I actually have free time! I just haven’t made the effort. So the question becomes: what’s next? Do I just say that it’s come to an end, and let myself off the hook going forward? Or do I double down and start anew?
I’m going to go with option 2. Because walking or exercising in some way, shape or form every day is good for me and makes me feel good.
I’m going to cover a mile (or do some other form of exercise) each day between now and Independence Day. The biggest challenge will be the last week of June when we’re on vacation. (That seems counterintuitive, but I’ve always found it difficult to work out when I’m not at home. Something about being off routine, maybe?)
